Monstera (Monstera) or also known as Split-leaf Pothos South America is a popular ornamental plant among landscape plants and indoor plants.

Monstera Deliciosa
This is the most common South American variety of philodendron. It has large leaves that can grow to over 1 meter long, and are dark green with deep slits.
Mature Monstera deliciosa leaves have many holes of different sizes. The larger they are, the more holes they have.

Monstera Borsigiana
Monstera borsigiana has oval leaves very similar to Monstera deliciosa but with shallow cuts. It also tends to grow bushier than the other types.

Monstera Adansonii
Monstera adansonii is also known as the pitted-leaf pothos because it takes longer for its leaves to split than deliciosa. Adansonii leaves must reach a certain size (about 40cm or more) before they start splitting.
This variety has smaller, more lobed leaves than M. deliciosa. It also tends to be more climbing.

Monstera Dubia
