Angiopteris evecta, commonly known as the king fern, giant fern, elephant fern, oriental ship fern, Madagascar tree fern, or la's foot fern, is a very large tropical fern in the family Marattiaceae native to most of Southeast Asia and Oceania. It is about 300 million years old and is said to have the longest leaves of any fern in the world.<\/h2>\n
