A native plant of Colombia, scientifically described by Croat & DCBay. The name comes from Greek, composed of 2 words 𝘩𝘦𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘰 meaning “different” and 𝘤𝘳𝘢𝘴𝘱𝘦𝘥𝘰𝘯 meaning “border”. Philodendron Heterocraspedon has long leaves, tapering at both ends, pointed tips, sharp folds on the leaf blade along the secondary veins, glossy green leaf surface.
