Chamaerops humilis ‘Vulcano’, commonly known as Mediterranean fan palm variety Vulcano, is a rare and compact variant of the Chamaerops humilis palm, native to the Vulcano region of the Aeolian Islands, Italy. This species is notable for its glossy, dark green fan-shaped foliage and thornless leaf margins, giving it a softer and more elegant appearance than the parent species. The plant typically grows to a height of 1-3m, with compact clumping stems and a well-proportioned shape, easily adapting to limited spaces.
