Jubaea chilensis, commonly known as Chilean Palm or Chilean Wine Palm, is one of the largest palm species in the world, notable for its large trunk, which can be up to 1.8m in diameter, and 15-25m in height. The trunk is smooth, light gray, and has a majestic and sturdy appearance. The leaves of the tree are pinnate, long and glossy green, forming a wide, graceful canopy. This tree species grows slowly but has a very long life span, even up to hundreds of years.
