Rhopalostylis sapida, commonly known as Nikau brush, is a palm species endemic to New Zealand, notable for its smooth, grey-green trunk and graceful straight shape. The trunk is often surrounded by a bright green tubular base, creating a unique highlight. The leaves of the Nikau palm are pinnate, grow in a wide canopy, are dark green, and have a soft tropical beauty. The tree can reach a height of 8-15m in the wild and is relatively slow growing.
