Alocasia Frydek variegated or velvet var because the leaf surface has random white patches. The var spots sometimes have a yellow aurea. Alocasia Frydek var originates from the dense forests of Southeast Asia. Frydek var has a matte green leaf covered with a smooth velvet layer, in places with low temperatures, the leaf can become darker. The leaf blade of Alocasia Frydek var is arrow-shaped, tapering to the tip, the white veins are prominent and clear, including a main vein running along the leaf midrib and sharp secondary veins.

Mature Alocasia Frydek can hold 9–11 leaves at a time, is about 50–73 cm tall, and has leaves 45–50 cm long.
