One of the rarest Alocasia species, Alocasia Infernalis has reddish-black leaves, the leaf surface is shiny as if covered with paint. When light shines on it, the leaves reflect brilliant red colors, creating an extremely impressive visual effect. The plant is compact, only about 30 - 50 cm high, very suitable for growing as a decorative ornamental plant in spaces with good light.

Alocasia needs a growing medium that is capable of good drainage, moderate moisture, and airy to avoid root rot.

Alocasia does not like low light but will not tolerate strong sunlight. It is best to place the plant near a window with indirect light or use a grow light if the indoor light is low.
