Platycerium Kankluay (Batman) is a hybrid of Platycerium Stemaria and Platycerium Elephantotis. Platycerium Kankluay (Batman) is native to Africa, with broad, wavy shields, thin leaves and gaps to collect organic debris for the plant. The antennae are characterized by a shiny upper surface and hairy lower surface. The antennae are usually divided into two lobes and the tip of the antennae is further divided into short lobes. The spore masses form the end of the antennae and are dark brown in color, as in all other species of dragon's nest. P. Stemaria is more sun tolerant than P. Elephantotis, but is not an easy variety to domesticate. They produce frequent plantlets if the substrate is kept moist.
