Butia odorata, commonly known as Pindo Palm or Sweet honey palm, is a palm species that stands out with its soft, curved leaves, silvery green or grayish green. The tree has a thick, straight trunk, about 4-6m high, with a wide, pinnate canopy, creating a graceful and unique beauty. A special feature of this palm species is the clusters of orange-yellow or red fruits, which have a sweet aroma and can be eaten or used to make jam or wine.

Butia odorata is often planted in parks, resorts or large gardens to create a tropical landscape style. With the ability to withstand drought, cold and easy to care for, the tree not only brings aesthetic value but also creates shade, making the space more attractive and friendly to nature.
