Native to Colombia and Ecuador, scientifically described and published by Croatia in 2016. Philodendron Esmeraldense has long arrow-shaped leaves, thick, glossy green blades, looking like leather, the leaf surface has bulging folds along the secondary veins, the size of mature leaves can reach 180cm. There are 2 common forms of this species: Wide form and Narrow form.
